Where the 2024 album incorporated a heavy use of folklore as a new tool, Cacciamali explores the influence further by bringing in a host of collaborative players including Italian avant-garde veteran Riccardo Sinigaglia, sound artist and researcher HMOT (Stas Shärifulla) and Persian\/Parisian electro-acoustic musician Cinna Peyghamy. ‘Scoff Back Sickness’, as the title loosely translates, utilises the same approach, one based on non-hierarchical authorship and leaning heavily on field recordings that both contrast and blend with the tonal material, focusing on biophony, landscape and environmental audio as compositional material.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ciframe width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/videoseries?si=K0JDh8We6ya1VJa5\u0026amp;list=OLAK5uy_mQvjJHqs-LVUhyqMzZ3zNR8okbpQsqcx4\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen\u003e\u003c\/iframe\u003e","brand":"12th isle","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48632997806274,"sku":"isle-024","price":28.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0655\/8351\/3794\/files\/rossopolarecacciamali.jpg?v=1787063168","url":"https:\/\/bentcrayon.com\/products\/rosso-polare-cacciamali-lp","provider":"bent crayon","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
