Emerging amid the primo froth of British post-punk era, Splat! were four -- sometimes five -- misfits from a small town halfway between Nottingham and Derby, right in the middle of England. Influenced by the likes of Pop Group, PiL, The Fall, and the Birthday Party, their sound was a very welcomed and intense affair.
